The word "replenishing" stood out to me for many reasons. We all burn the candle at both ends and often forget ourselves in the giving process. I know I am really working on trying to give to myself as well as others. It sounds SO EASY to take some time for yourself, but that is an "Art" that I am having to relearn after all these years...It is so true that we must renew and replenish out physical, emotional and spiritual strength so that we may continue to serve the Lord and others.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I like this quote because in a way it gives me permission to take care of myself and develop my talents. It's a delight to me to do the work and feel the satisfaction when I complete a piece of art. It sure is fun!
